Surprise!

Bradley's brother, Ashley, flew to Fort Worth this year to surprise Bradley for his birthday. We crammed in as much activity as we could when Ashley was here. They repaired the fence (so Baxter could run around freely), we went to a gun show, saw a movie and ate a ton of food. Ashley we miss you!

Talladega Nights

Those of you that know us well, know that we LOVE Nascar! This year we packed up the car with Ember's parents and drove to Alabama for the Talladega race. We sat on the 2nd row and had a BLAST!

Grassmick Birthday

Our friends, Melissa and Jonathan, had a birthday party for their kids in Dallas this year. We were thrilled to be there. It was the Saturday before Easter, so we all went outside to hunt Easter Eggs too!! At one point we went outside to play with Emma and Johnny. We played hide and go seek, although, Johnny wasn't so great at hiding. When you called out, "Where's Johnny?" he'd yell back, "I'm over here!". We laughed and laughed.

The Newest Wilkie

In February we adopted a new member of the family, Baxter. He showed up on our doorstep, literally. He is a blue heeler and akeeta mix breed and is about 2 years old. He is one of the sweetest dogs. He gets along with Chewy and if you let him will crawl up into your lap for a belly rub...which is sometimes complicated since he's a 45 pound dog!

Visit from Bradley's Parents

Bradley's parents came to visit in February. We had such a wonderful time with them. We took them to visit our workplaces, we went to a concert, and ate a TON of food. We absolutely had a wonderful visit! Ya'll come back soon!!

Christmas 2006

We had Christmas in Texas this year with Ember's family. Jake and Charlie, Ember's nephews are so fun around the holidays!
